don’t spend your WINTER alonE. Groups open JAN 18!
SO WHAT ARE SMALL GROUPS?
Here at The Project, we firmly believe that we are made for community. However, finding people to do life with can be easier said than done. It may be daunting to join a small group or meet new people, but you never know what can happen in your life when you take a chance.
Our hope is to provide you with life-giving opportunities to meet other young adults while exploring and growing in your relationship with Jesus.
At the end of the day, you need people and people need you.
WINTER SMALL GROUPS REGISTRATION will be open on Jan 18th!
Check out the preview catalogue below!

When it comes to small groups, less is more! We want you to get the most out of your group, so invest in one or two rather than signing up for too many. This also ensures that everyone gets a spot.
-
Some groups have a unique way to register, and others may not require you to sign up at all. Read through the descriptions thoroughly so you know what your next steps are.
-
Your leaders are putting in a great deal of time and effort into your group. It is imperative that you communicate with them so that they can plan accordingly. Is the group no longer a fit for you? Do you have to miss a meeting? No sweat, just let them know as soon as possible.
Please note that if you miss 2 meetings (bi-weekly groups) or 3 meetings (weekly groups) without communication, you will be removed from the group and your spot will be given to someone else.
-
Spots can be tricky to come by but don’t lose hope. Just join the waitlist and we’ll do our best to get you a spot.

We’re happy to help! Just contact us.

However, tentative schedule for this small group is for Sunday afternoons, and possibly Saturday as an alternative.

This semester, we will be diving into the Letter to the Hebrews, a rich and compelling book of the Bible that connects both the Old and New Testament. Together, we will engage in meaningful discussions, conversations, and exploration of the context and connections that Hebrews draws from the Scriptures. This book invites us to seek and understand why Jesus truly is better. This group is a space to grow as a community each week, walking alongside one another in faith, and fun. Whether you are new to the Bible or have spent years studying it, there is room here for questions, discussion, and discovery no matter where you are starting from. We invite you as we journey together into seeing Jesus clearly.

The purpose of this group is to see the power in prayer and to walk in the boldness God has given us in prayer. We will explore what it means to talk with God and hear Him speak. From honest prayer in dark seasons to bold prayers for others, we will learn how to connect with God in a deeper way and discover the kind of prayer that brings peace, breakthrough and real spiritual growth.

Leader: Tyler Eslinger and Bernadette Natividad
Time: Saturdays (Weekly) 11:00- 1:00PM
Location: Millwoods Campus
In the book of John, God said that, “Jesus died so we can have an abundant life.” What does this actually mean? We will discuss topics such as purpose, identity, joy, living with eternity in mind, and God’s design for our lives. We will explore actionable steps that lead you to live a truly transformed life, not just hear about it. We hope you leave this group with a newfound fire for life and a better understanding of your role as a Christian in a fallen world. This group is for the 25-35 demographic; however, everyone is welcome! We are excited to meet you!

Leader: Javier
Time: Fridays (Bi-weekly) 7:00-9:30pm
Location: Project Offsite Space- South Central (location given after registration)
This winter we will be looking into the Gospel of Luke. This will be a Friday evening, Bi-Weekly, self reading bible study. Each 2 week period we will be tasked with reading 4 chapters in the Gospel of Luke. When we come together as a group on the Bi-Weekly, Friday evening, we will discuss our self taken notes on the content we have read. My vision for this semester is to be able to gather functional insight on Jesus’ experiences and knowledge so that we may equip our hearts and minds with a compass that directs us on our walk with God. This group is for those looking to discuss the scripture, share life, and grow in faith. We always look forward to witnessing how the Lord will work in our lives through study, fellowship and prayer. If you knock, the door will be opened and we would be happy to have you join us for this semester.

Location: Online
Time: Tuesday (Weekly) 8:00-9:30 PM
This small group is for those who want to defend Christianity as Scripture commands (1 Peter 3:15) and destroy arguments, taking every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). We will directly engage and refute common objections raised against Christianity—especially from an Islamic perspective—using Scripture, history, and evidence, while still speaking the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). We will also examine the latest historical developments in Islamic studies, particularly the book, the man, and the place—that is, the historical reliability of the Qur’an, the life of Muhammad, and the historical existence and development of Mecca. Key questions we will address include: What is the historical evidence for the resurrection of Jesus Christ? (1 Corinthians 15:3–8) Is the Trinity truly taught in the Bible? (Matthew 28:19; John 1:1; Isaiah 48:16) How were the Bible and the Qur’an compiled? Did Mecca exist historically? How should Christians respond to common objections about God’s nature, including simplistic or misleading questions? We do this not as the self-righteous, but as one beggar showing another beggar where to find bread—the Bread of Life (John 6:35). We meet with urgency because Christ is coming very soon (Revelation 22:12), and God desires that none should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). This group exists to equip believers to stand firm in truth and to lovingly call people back to Christ.
